Milkweed Editions published The Century<\/a><\/em> in October 2020. Reviews of The Century<\/em> appear in Orion<\/em><\/a>, Ploughshares<\/em><\/a>, the Cleveland Review of Books<\/em><\/a>, the Boston Globe<\/em><\/a>, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune<\/em><\/a>, the Southern Indiana Review<\/em><\/a>, and the Portland (ME) Press-Herald<\/em><\/a> (an advance notice appeared here<\/a>). I am grateful for the perceptive readers this book has had, not least Dan Beachy-Quick, R.A. Villanueva, and Monica Ong, who wrote blurbs for it. Poems from The Century<\/em> have been published widely, beginning in 2010 or so. (The earliest poems in this collection were written in 2009.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October 2021, a first performance of “An archaeology” took place alongside works by five other writers and artists. The performance took place over Zoom. A second digital staging was part of the Little Grassy Lit Fest in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, I collaborated with director Jeanne Tiehen and students from University College Dublin to stage a performance of An Archaeology<\/em> in the UCD Classical Museum. We revised and reprised this performance, with a different cast, in April 2024 in the Trapdoor Theatre (photos below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
