And Carol Rumens (among many readers!) noticed how important similes are to this book. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/books\/2025\/nov\/03\/poem-of-the-week-simile-by-eireann-lorsung\">She chose &#8220;Simile&#8221; as poem of the week<\/a> for <em>The Guardian<\/em> in November 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pattern-book<\/em> is also reviewed in <em>Poetry Ireland Review<\/em> 148.
