Cobalt Review will publish two poems from a manuscript about England in their winter (print) issue.

A poem I wrote way back when I lived in France and took the train lots of times between Dole and Belfort is going to come out in an anthology called Other Countries: Contemporary Poets Rewiring History.

A piece from 1873 is in Sundog Lit‘s “Letters from the Road” issue. The issue was guest-edited by Jill Talbot.

My essay “Resemblances”, which is about William Kentridge’s work, was a finalist in Story Quarterly‘s first annual essay contest.

My manuscript, Scale Model of the World, is a finalist in Autumn House Press’s 2014 full-length contest. Also on the list of finalists are Michael Walsh, who was one year ahead of me in the University of Minnesota writing program, and Chiyuma Elliott, whom I just met in Vermont in June. So nice to be in their and the other writers’ company.
