“List of Survivors” in BLUESTEM

My story, “List of Survivors” is in Bluestem, a quarterly out of Illinois. Roxane Gay chose it, which made me feel good, since I like the writing I’ve read by her.

This is part of a longer fiction project called 1873. You can see a catalogue of images relating (and not) to that project here.

A poem in Women’s Studies Quarterly

My poem ‘Cloth manifesto’ will be in Women’s Studies Quarterly sometime next year, in their fashion issue. I was super pleased that this got taken here: I like the editor’s writing, I like the journal, writing about cloth is still important to me although I don’t sew as much these days, and the poem I sent is one of my favorites, from a manuscript (Ceriserie) I completed last fall.
